Hi Darren,
Thanks for your help. I will look into Zen and BT, they can only be better
than what we currently have. At one point last year we were down for almost
an entire week. Last week in one day it was down for around six hours, then
when it did work there was a mad rush for everyone to download their email
then after about 5 minutes it failed again.
Thankfully all our physical sales, tech support, website and other key
aspects are not effected by this as the main server is in the US and certain
other staff are not based in Edinburgh. However we do need a reliable
connection - which as I am typing this it seems to be! However I suspect it
was the threat of trading standards which ultimately got the internet
provider to get things working. No doubt it will fail leter on today or
tomorrow. Finally, it should be noted the business centre staff where we are
based are excellent and the (lack of) reliability of the connection is not
their fault, also they are also currently looking into changing provider.
