Try Mediaspec http://www.mediaspec.co.uk - they (particularly Andy at the East Kilbride branch) have a great deal of raid and scsi experience and can probably build you a suitable device that will be reliable. It will no-doubt come mac formatted, but I'm sure you can sort that out.
