Yes, but I really need a quick fix on this. We do have 10Mb devices we can't
upgrade / do without, and I'm far too lazy to re-wire our network so as to
isolate them ;).

see previous answer. Dependencies make life complicated - particularly from the
disaster recovery point of view - if I really do have a disaster, I want to be
able to walk in with my tapes and restore them on the boot strap OS provided by
the DR company - not try to work out where the media for the backup program is,
and make sure that its up to date etc.
