Redhat *.2 releases tend to be the most stable and they continue to support them after the next major version change. With out being to specific (heh) certain servers that I manage run 6.2 though they will be upgraded to 7.2 soon. 6.2 updates are fine with patches released at roughly the same time as for the 7.* versions. -- Kenny Duffus Department of Computer & Information Sciences University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK Tel: +44 (0)141 548 3592 Fax: +44 (0)141 552 5330 -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
