Redhat *.2 releases tend to be the most stable and they continue to support 
them after the next major version change.

With out being to specific (heh) certain servers that I manage run 6.2 though 
they will be upgraded to 7.2 soon.  6.2 updates are fine with patches 
released at roughly the same time as for the 7.* versions.
