Rober, My early experiments with nvidia drivers + quake2 would sometimes cause that. It was a while ago though (1999) when, according to everything I read, the drivers for the TNT2 didn't work. They did work, they were just a wee bit flaky. I am sure things have improved since then. I eventually decided I would reboot to windows to play at games. I eventually pretty much stopped playing at games. Thanks, Allan -- Where in the nursery rhyme does it say Humpty Dumpty is an egg? -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
