Subject: [scottish] Wireless Hub Vendor?

Cisco Aironet kit is quite nice I hear - and their LAN cards will play with Linux
happily. Has a single rj45 eth port on the back and will do what you seem to be asking
for.

Not cheap though.

They probably don't think it's worth their while porting drivers. Usually some kind
sole steps forward and cranks out a an open source Linux driver after a while -
depending on hardware specs etc.

Course, Aironet doesn't need to hang off another PC to behave. They can be 'managed'
via the kit's web interface.

The 340 and 350 series Access Points however are more akin to wireless hubs, although
the 350 has more flash memory for firmware upgrades, is SNMP capable and a bunch of
other stuff which is only of interest to those looking to use in a work environment.
