Bruce, Well, for $100 I thought it would be worth investigating, for some very specific application; I just had to go to the Microsoft store mentioned in the article, and some other places, to read more about it, so I could better understand it.
You can add a 64GB micro SD disc to bring the HD storage up to a usable range, and perhaps a bluetooth headset will give you the audio it doesn't have (along with access to Cortana). You could add a bluetooth keyboard if you also wanted. I think you could install WE with some low-overhead synth such as Eloquence, and you could get a portable hotspot or use your phone. Then, the only trouble might be finding something useful to do with it! It does remind me of the Original "SmallTalk" sold by GW Micro. Yes Chip, I wasn't going to comment until you did and besides the fact that it is a small device, it appears to be only a 32 GB hard drive, a slow clock and the possibility of over-heating... It actually does not sound like a good device to have at all. Only portability and price seems to be what it has and nothing else. It was about the kind of computer you can get with one hundred U.S. dollars. Sorry about that, and please try this link instead: http://bit.ly/204agn2 Thanks, Rod _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
