I figured since everyone's been debating the whole bass situation, this comment might be relevant. It's just more of a thought that I wanted to share: Does anyone else think it's weird how there's like tons of reverb on the bass on Diary? I think it sounds pretty cool. I think someone else was commenting on how Nate's playing was really "legato" on the old records. I think the reverb was instrumental in achieving that effect.
