With you sir i disagree. Sunny Day's music is not too intelligent for the
masses. I feel saying this is wrong and very elitist. Is Faith No More not
intelligent? (Even though I hate this guys) Is Rage Against the Machine not
intelligent? Incubus? Radiohead? I could go on and on. Sunny Day is and never
will be popular because of Jeremy's falsetto. People, in my opinion, just
don't want to hear a lot of high singing especially in rock music. Another
issue I have with your statement is "Mainstream rock went from good
songwriting of the likes of alice n chains, soundgarden nirvana, ect.. to
Heavy 7 string bands like limp bisket and Korn." Not only did Korn come out
in 1994, but bad songwriters? Not at all. They capture emotion in the
contexts of music. That's great songwriting. I don't listen them, but I do
listen to a lot bands that could be considered "heavy 7 string bands."
Nothingface, a metal band from DC, are writing some of the best songs of our
time. And what about the Deftones? Aren't they considered a "7 string band?"

out,
dbrian
