Thanks for the input, guys, now I have too many choices
again, though since I'm running a virtual machine with VirtualBox, I can
try them all. VirtualBox has crashed once while saving a
"snapshot", but otherwise has been excellent.
Rob, I let Adept do all the updates to KDE4 that it wanted to, any others
that should be done?
Adam, thanks for the heads up about Geany Text Editor, so far the free
Komodo editor has looked the best to me.
Ian, what does LM5 have to recommend it over LM4? Just a newer Linux
kernel?
