TierraNet has certificates for $35/year. Ever so slightly more than GoDaddy, but, really, what's $5, or even $15?
https://www.tierra.net/products/ssl I really like TierraNet because they're local (started by UCSD alums, even) and the quality of their account management interface and customer support is incomparably better than GoDaddy. You'd be surprised how much easier it is to buy domains without wading through piles of ridiculous ads.
