We used Vonage for our business line for 7 or 8 years. There were some problems in the earlier years, but for several years now it has worked without problems.
However, a few months ago we switched to Skype. Unlimited US service with an inbound number is only $5.50 per month! You do have to use a computer, but for our situation that was actually an advantage. We use Logitech cordless USB headsets. I think Skype used to have a cheesy reputation but it works really well. I got the idea from a friend that has been using Skype for his business line for almost two years now. Of course there was a story a couple of weeks ago that Skype may have to shut down next summer due to a pending legal case. I'm betting that it will get resolved before it gets that far.
