Thanks for all the replies, it certainly made choices simpler.

I did look into Skype, but this is primarily for other family members
to use, so regular phone is a must.

I ended up choosing Lingo b/c they had 4.95 rate for first 6 mo. (more
money for mac fund), the downside is that its a 2 year contract.
