thanks, that's a useful data point.  TurboGears, Django, and Zope/Plone seem
to be the main credible players in the python web framework space these
days, but they've all got various issues of maturity or
community/commitment.

I've done quite a bit of python and like working in it, but there's nothing
in the python world right now with anything event close to the momentum and
community that's coalesced around Rails right now.

I do like Zope's page templates a lot; most of the rest of the python
templating systems didn't appeal to me when I was investigating.  But you
have to do some work to unravel it from zope to use in a diff web stack.
