If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our meetings, I'd be happy to see a discussion. I want the meetings to be informative *and* fun.

Here are a couple of ideas:

- Weekly hackfest at a fixed location would be nice. My favorite SD hangout is Korova, up in University Heights. Nice atmosphere and coffee, plus free wifi. And there's enough space for a pretty big group. (I want to start doing this anyway... but having some company would be nice.)

- Seems like about half the group is just learning Rails. What do you guys need? Is there anything you're stuck on? Might be cool to turn one of the presentations into a Rails "catchup" talk... where the more hard-core people could talk about ways to get started.

- I know progress on the regional conference has stalled a bit (most likely due to end-of-the-year projects for Tom, myself, and others). But I think we should push forward and plan something for early next year.

- Lightning talks at every presentation meeting. Just share something cool you've learned with Rails recently.

- Working on a design for t-shirts. Stay tuned. :)

Best,
Patrick
