Your PARMs too short to box with God (or call C)| by Jim Keohane

The recent tip "How You're Gonna Keep'em Down On The PARM Once
They've Coded In C" left some asking for more. Here's a simpler and
more generic variant consisting of 2 assembler programs that should
provide less issues than a COBOL or C version.

How ya gonna keep'm down on the PARM once they've coded in C? | by
Jim Keohane

There was a discussion on IBM-MAIN about the 100-character limitation
on PARM size in JCL. It turns out most programs have no problem with

Web Adventures of NetRexx, the Wonder Code! | by Jim Keohane

IBM Fellow Mike Cowlishaw's NetRexx, based on his Rexx scripting
language, was designed as a simpler but complete alternative to Java.
Applications, applets and servlets for any Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
can be done in NetRexx with less coding and in less time. Java
classes and beans are easily accessible. Mainframers already familiar
with decades-old Rexx can leverage that expertise on upcoming web
development. And it's FREE!
