CICS TRAN-O-SERVICE REXX | by Jim Keohane
REXX for CICS (a.k.a. CICS/REXX) has been around since '94. IBM
dropped it in '97 but later introduced a new version in 1999. It's
now an integral part of CICS TS (Transaction Services). For some
reason it's largely still a secret. Why? Beats me.

Info on EXEC CICS commands? | by Jose Flores
Dear Ask the Expert,
I'm trying to get some info on some EXEC CICS commands, namely START
with a tran. My question is, if there is already a suspended trans
running at the terminal (say waiting for the oper to hit enter) and
the new trans START expires - what happens to the RETURN TRANS that
was already pending and its COMMAREA?
