Where can I find information regarding implementation phases? >>CLICK for Mark's answer: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid431272_tax287555,00.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Help with two CPUs and three systems? | by Steve Samson Dear Ask the Expert, We have two CPUs (R26 and R45) and three systems. OPC runs on System A that runs on CPU A. When OPC submits a job and on the same system finds an initiator open (WLM initiator) the job runs on this CPU independent from CPU charge. The result is that CPU A works much more than CPU B. Initial condition is that resources and scheduling environments are open everywhere where job can run everywhere. In March 2001 you recommended that I close the resource JES2 on CPU A for 15 seconds and then open this for 5 seconds. We have implemented this but I think it is a temporary solution. Do you have another solution? (maybe '$p xeq' ....) >>CLICK for Steve's answer: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid429496_tax285125,00.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Any recommended reading for setting up an XRF system? |by Jose Flores Dear Ask the Expert, Is there any recommended reading for setting up an XRF system? We are running CICS TS 1.3 in 3 production regions. For the heaviest used region we would like to setup an XRF region. This region uses VSAM files and IMS databases. The IMS region it connects to is IMS 7. Some of the files and databases are shared as read only by the other 2 regions. >>CLICK for Jose's answer: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid430021_tax288468,00.html ___________________________________________________________________ :::::::::: DON'T MISS THESE IMPORTANT MESSAGES AND LINKS ::::::::: =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= SEARCH390 FEATURED TOPIC | Storage If you're the one in charge of managing storage, then you know there are many options to consider. It's done via a static CALL to a specified NAME passing input parameters and expecting back output parameters and other return and/or global values. But what if CALLER and CALLEE were written in different languages? Read on to find out how Web services can help solve data-swapping issues and ease other programmers' burdens. >>CLICK for the Full Tip: http://www.search390.com/tip/1,289483,sid10_gci795826,00.html >>CLICK to view all search390 tip categories: http://search390.techtarget.com/tips/0,289484,sid10_tax1642,00.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= TAKE OUR POLL | search390 "What storage network configuration are you currently using?" >>CLICK to post your response: http://search390.techtarget.com/poll ____________________________________________________________________ ::::::::::::::::::: SEARCH390 CONTACTS ::::::::::::::::::: BJ RAMA, Site Editor ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Send us your original articles and best practices.
