I'd like to introduce the premier TCP/IP and SNA performance monitor, Vital Signs VisionNet (VSV). VSV is the only monitor with a single, central repository capable of reporting on both OS/390 (or z/OS) and non-OS/390 devices. VSV provides detailed reports on TCP/IP status, FTP, CSM efficiency, Socket activity, and Telnet activity, at considerably lower prices than competing products. We want high performance and high data currency at the same time, but we still haven't decided whether to choose peer-to-peer remote copy (PPRC) or extended remote copy (XRC). My question: Is ESCON Director compulsory for both types of remote copy? What are the drawbacks if we do without it? Is there a 'cheap' or optimum way (in terms of hardware especially) to implement remote copy?" Think you can answer MVSnewbie's question? If so, please share your thoughts and suggestions. It was for a 30-year-old Louisiana man. He may have known that the flashing lights of his N64 gave him seizures, but he still spent some 48 hours each week behind the console! His final seizure threw him headfirst into a table -- a fatal blow. Now his mother is taking Nintendo to court. She's suing for "her son's lost future earnings," which may not have been much considering he spent what amounts to six workdays playing games. Nintendo denies any accountability in this case. The company puts seizure warnings on its boxes.
