So just what are Best Web Links anyway?
I 'm sure you have seen the list of categories for Best Web Links on our homepage. But do you know what they are? Let's just say that these timesaving gems are like gasoline to an automobile. We search the Web for the very best 390 related sites, articles and information. Each site is reviewed and described for your convenience. Each of the over 1,300 links we present are categorized so that developers, administrators, CIO's and CEO's can find the information they need.
Wondering if you should switch to Linux or upgrade to z/OS? Then you should visit our Operating Systems category.
With sub-categories like Interoperability/Integration, OS/390 and Linux, this section is a treasure trove of information.
Storage a big concern? Then check out our Storage management category for information on backup issues, SANs, tape utilization, etc.
I think you get the idea. We want to save you time. Never again do you have to search the Web for 390-related information--we've done it for you. We've done the searching, reviewing and categorizing so you need only go to one place: Search390.
Visit our fourteen main Best Web Links main categories today
Did we miss something? If you have an idea for a Best Web Link, send me an e-mail at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

"Linux390" needs your help. Linux posted this in our operating systems forum: We need to connect FTP mode with Unix part in our S/390 machine. Please somebody, if you know if there's any problem with this. We don't have any problem in other architectures, but with NT and the FTP program, they connect, but don't show anything. We have proved with several FTP clients. Thank you.
Can you help? If so, please post your answer here:

| Tip of the Week: |
| For a variety of reasons, you may want to install discrete instances -- or separate versions -- of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) on the same physical server or LPAR. An approach of this kind makes a lot of sense if you need to consolidate WAS 3.5.x and WAS 4.0.x on a single box or LPAR for testing or development purposes, or if you're testing and certifying WAS 3.5.x applications for a future WAS 4.0.x migration. |
