HOW DO I HANDLE DEADLOCKS IN CICS/DB2 APPLICATIONS? | by Ken Davies
Dear Ask the Expert,
How do I handle deadlocks in CICS/DB2 online applications? Typically,
I would like to report an error only after a certain number of tries.
Can this be handled by altering CICS settings? How do I handle this
programmatically?

WHAT DOES APPL% REPRESENT IN GOAL MODE REPORTS? | by Gerhard Adam

My question is about the goal mode workload reports. What does appl%

WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENCES IN CPU UTILIZATION? | by Steve Sampson
Dear Ask the Expert,
When I have problems in my systems (1 mode basic and 1 LPAR) I go to
SDSF, RMF and Candle Omegamon/MVS to try to detect the processes that
have problems. One day I noticed that %CPU utilization is a little
different in these three monitors. What are the reasons for this
difference?
