ASK THE EXPERT | Determining the size of a native z/OS data set

A Search390.com member asks: I want to do is determine the actual
size of a file in real world numbers (MB) instead of blocks. I'm
looking at a DSN file, and would like to have a formula for
calculating its actual size. I have tried FTPing it to a PC to try
and determine if there is an obvious quick calculation. Do you have
any advice for me?
