THE MISSING LINK | Move the kids away from the screen, please

OK, so maybe your mug won't really freeze when you're making that
horrid face, and maybe eating cookie dough won't give you worms.
But mom may have been right about that other warning -- standing
too close to the TV. A recent study of children found a link
between time spent in front of a computer screen and vision
problems. Researchers say pixel preoccupation can be really
hazardous to kids these days because they start using computers
when they're so young, plus they don't really know the warning
signs of vision problems, like headache, eye fatigue, and blurry
vision. Good call, ma!
