A researcher at Penn State University found that Internet search engines aren't chug-a-lugging toward the virtual Red Light District like they used to. Five years ago, nearly 17% of Excite searches were naughty in nature. But by May 2001, that figure fell to 8.5%. Over the same time period, travel, job hunting, and other less naked search topics nearly doubled. Is there more scorn for porn these days?
