Dear Ask the Expert,
I'm trying to control a data transfer on an iSeries that I have

Washington, Tyne and Wear, and as an iSeries 400 instructor at Sierra

THE WEEK IN WINDOWS | SearchWin2000

There's been a balanced diet of Microsoft news this week -- with
hearty servings of security stew, product pie, crepe .NET and Spam a
la Redmond. The bad news? There are no stories about overly regular
geese this week. The good news? There's always next week.

THE MISSING LINK | 103-year-old man needs mom for eye test

Here's another story for the "Oops File." A hospital computer in
England assumed a birth year ending in 99 was 1999. A staffer
contacted Joseph Dickinson, presumably born three years ago, for an
eye check and told him to bring his mum. Can you see where this is
going? Little Joey the toddler is really Mr. Dickinson the
centenarian. He was born in 1899 -- Mum can't make it! Evidently the
Y2K bug still has some teeth, although the same might not be able to
be said for Mr. Dickinson.
