[Bug 291833] [NEW] tree view item does not disappear when i unmount a usb drive
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Using Ubuntu 8.10, nautilus 1:2.24.1-0ubuntu1. I have the left sidebar of nautilus set to display tree view. Normally two items are shown: Home Folder and File System. When I plug in a USB device and it automounts, I get a third item for that device. When I right click on the USB device and select unmount (or eject, which is sometimes available) immediately after mounting and before browsing any files on the device, the tree view returns to the normal two items. But if I browse any files on the device first, the usb device remains in tree view, although an error occurs if I try to access it. If I plug the device back in again without closing the nautilus window, another copy of the device appears in the tree view. The device ought to disappear from the tree view regardless of whether I'm browsing files on the device when I unmount it. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- tree view item does not disappear when i unmount a usb drive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291833 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I created a search folder for this folder where the criteria is [Status is not Read] or [Status is Important]. The problem occurs with both an IMAP account and a local Maildir account. Right-clicking on the search folder and selecting Refresh doesn't fix it. Restarting evolution doesn't fix it, either. [Bug 287654] Re: gnome-panel will not display open windows in panel
After submiting the previous information I realized that the icons for selecting the workspace only show color on half of the selected icon when the problem occurs. [Bug 291901] [NEW] Fullscreen mode ignores customized toolbar settings.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince Before anyone screams duplicate, #148593 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148593) is a subset of this bug; and, the developers should have looked more closely, because that wasn't really the problem. The problem is that NO customizations are carried over to full screen mode, not just the singular case of 'no toolbar'. 1) Customize toolbar icons. 1.5) Optionally, restart evince. (Made no difference.) 2) Enter full screen mode. What I expect: My customized toolbar is retained. What happens instead: Default toolbar is displayed. Thoughts: Maybe the full screen toolbar is static/hard-coded? (Hope not.) Maybe it just 'forgets' to check for customized toolbar settings? Quite unintuitive either way.
