[kstars] [Bug 422281] New: Star Profile Causes Laggy KStars/Ekos Performance
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422281 Bug ID: 422281 Summary: Star Profile Causes Laggy KStars/Ekos Performance Product: kstars Version: 3.4.2 Platform: Other OS: macOS Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: mutla...@ikarustech.com Reporter: mountainai...@outlook.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY The Star Profile feature is awesome, but once I launch it in the Guiding tab (to adjust focus prior to guiding) the operation of KStars/Ekos slows down immensely. This continues to occur even after closing that feature, and the only way to correct it is to disconnect from RPi, quit and re-launch KStars. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect to remote RPi 2. Go to Guiding tab (it probably happens in all image viewer windows, though) 3. Loop image capture, and enable the star profile to see the FWHM value. 4. When done, close the star profile. OBSERVED RESULT Performance of KStars/Ekos is still quite slow, like the star profile feature is still calculating star focus in the background. EXPECTED RESULT Performance should return to normal. [kde] [Bug 422278] New: Audio unbalanced coming out of Blue Yeti headphone jack
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422278 Bug ID: 422278 Summary: Audio unbalanced coming out of Blue Yeti headphone jack Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: devguy...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 128943 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=128943&action=edit blue yeti connection SUMMARY When I plug in my headphone in the headphone jack of Blue Yeti, the right side has more volume. It was not always like this. I also notice when I unplug and plug in the USB to the PC, there is a moment while the system is detecting the device, there is a slight hum and both side on the headphone are balance. Once Blue Yeti is detected, the right side of headphone is a bit louder. I would like to mention this just started happening in the last 2 or 3 weeks, before it would happen occasionally, now all the time. I have tested this on with my Macbook Pro with same cable and headphone produces balanced audio to both ears. I have also tested with my PC headphone jack and audio is balanced on headphones. On my PC I double check my motherboard for loose wiring, everything seemed good. I've tried different USB ports but always the same issue now, unbalance audio to the headphone. So far I've eliminated my headphone, cables and Blue Yeti as not being the problem. I also doubt my motherboard has a problem with all USB ports, but still a remote possibility. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Plug Blue Yeti mic to PC 2. Plug in headphone to Blue Yeti headphone jack 3. Open Pulse Audio settings and click on "Configuration" tab. 4. Set Blue Yeti profile to "Analog Stereo Output + Digital Stereo (IEC957) Input" 5. Turn volume knob on Blue Yeti to 100% up, use PC volume to control headphone volume. 6. Listen to audio OBSERVED RESULT Unbalance output, right side is a bit louder. EXPECTED RESULT Balance output to both headphone left and right side. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422277 Bug ID: 422277 Summary: 100% cpu usage and desktop crash if you plaice a certain combination of plasmoid widgets Product: kdeplasma-addons Version: 5.18.5 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: systemloadviewer Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: brunoguedes.n...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY This bug happens if you use the grouping plasmoid widget to group the 'system load viwer' plasmoid widget with the 'calculator' plasmoid widget and you restart the computer. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. add the grouping plasmoid widget to the desktop 2. put the system load viwer plasmoid widget inside of it 3. then put the calculator plasmoid widget inside of it as well 4. click the system load viewer tab so that it is the plasmoid widget that is shown when the pc restarts. 5. restart the pc. OBSERVED RESULT The entire desktop freezes. You will not be able to invoke the desktop menu by right clicking and all other plasmoids that you might have on your desktop will freeze as well. This includes the plasma panel and the plasmoids in it. You will still be able to open konsole using the keyboard shortcut(ctrl + alt + t) and, sometimes, krunner works(not always and when it do, it is glitchy). When I checked ksysguard 1 of my cpu threads was at 100% and its would not go down with time. I could revert the freezing by removing the system load viwer plasmoid widget from the grouping widget. Even though it was not a simple task since it would freeze quite quickly and, once it freezes, you cannot remove the widget anymore. I have 12 videos in the project and need to insert a video track between V1 and V2. I select track V1, right click, Insert Track. The result is this: V1 and A1 remain the same. A2 is an empty track above V1. V2 shows audio track of what was A2. A3 is an empty track above V2 V3 shows what was V2 and this is expected as V2 would shift upwards to make space for the inserted tracks. But the corresponded Audio is not adjacent to it and I can only move it downwards, when it needs to be upwards. So, basically when it inserts a track above or below, instead of cutting between 2 fields, it skip one, hence splitting a pair of Video and Audio from the same clip. Hopefully this can be resolved quickly as I have a video mosaic to finish but I need to be able to insert tracks correctly. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I select track V1, right click, Insert AV Track, above V1. OBSERVED RESULT V1 and A1 remain the same. A2 is an now an empty track above V1. V2 shows audio track of what was A2. A3 is an empty track above V2 V3 shows what was V2 and this is expected as V2 would shift upwards to make space for the inserted tracks. But the corresponded Audio is not adjacent to it and I can only move it downwards, when it needs to be placed upwards. So, basically when it inserts a track above or below, instead of cutting between 2 fields, it skip one, hence splitting a pair of Video and Audio from the same clip. EXPECTED RESULT It is normally expected that any clips containing AV would be still be together after the tracks insertion. [krita] [Bug 422267] Advanced color selector hue rotate affects saturation/value in 16 bit color space
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422267 Lynx3d changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED CC||lynx.mw+...@gmail.com Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Lynx3d --- I can confirm this, especially dark oranges put the Advanced Color Selector in a noticeably different state than it should when the color is picked from a 16-bit RGB canvas again (note that you must pick some slightly different color inbetween because it won't update on exactly the same one). Any tweak that makes it set a new foreground color results in a noticeable change of all values of HSV tab of the foreground color dialog. I identified LcmsColorSpace::toQColor() and fromQColor() as the issue. It doesn't use an Elle sRGB profile but the LCMS built-in sRGB (as that's all it can rely on). You would expect them to be equivalent, but I guess Elle Stone spend a good amount of time on well-behaved profiles for a reason, the poorly quantized built-in produces surprisingly large errors, well above just changing an 8-bit component by +/-1, more like -6 to -8 compared to sRGB-elle-V2-srgbtrc.icc. And the reverse transform back to linear RGB doesn't make it better either. Now what's best approach to fix this... Maybe it's time to deprecate KoColorSpace::to/fromQColor(). KisDisplayColorConverter can convert to an Elle sRGB profile itself instead, possibly directly in 32-bit float like the Small Color Selector does. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 403443] New track incorrect position
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403443 f_abitab...@hotmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||f_abitab...@hotmail.com --- Comment #2 from f_abitab...@hotmail.com --- Having the same problem in windows 10. Kdenlive 20.04,1 Inserting a track, never goes where it supposed to and it creates a gap in between an existing Video and Audio belonging to the same clip. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[frameworks-kpackage] [Bug 422119] kpackagetool5 deletes all widgets upon installation / update of widget from folder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422119 --- Comment #2 from Sora Steenvoort --- Yes, it's reproducible. I guess I really should've mentioned earlier that the plugin in question is a modified version of org.kde.plasma.webbrowser which plasmapkg2 installed locally to ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/, while the original version remains untouched in /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/. The “add widget” overview lists both versions when installed and both are usable so this seems fine in general, but apparently it causes plasmapkg2 to wreak havoc. To reproduce (make sure to backup ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/ beforehand): TEMPDIR=$(mktemp -d) cp /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.webbrowser/metadata.desktop $TEMPDIR plasmapkg2 -r $TEMPDIR This will delete the entire folder ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/ if it doesn't contain a subfolder org.kde.plasma.webbrowser. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
