Default log level only show packet which delayed longer than 1sec and this is around the time you had problem. As long as the Select.pm files has been patched, I think the rebuffering is a BBC / CDN / ISP network issue and not a BBCiplayer plugin one. IIRC BBC Network weekday load is heaviest from about 7:30-10:30 and 4:30-7:00pm. On weekend - often Sunday 11:00-2:30 is bad. > > Yes, I am getting mysqueezebox.com error messages, but not round the > time I was having issues. > > SN: Invalid mysqueezebox.com username or password. > [19-02-27 10:38:26.7961] Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::_init_error > (185) Unable to login to mysqueezebox.com, sync is disabled: Invalid > mysqueezebox.com username or password. I haven't yet tried rebooting router (though I have rebooted computer), but have had no problems at all until this week. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Annouce: Squeeze Control, a squeezebox remote app, is now available for Android
Any ETA on the update to SB Player? Also, just in the last couple of days I've started seeing a lot of these kinds of errors that seem to go away for a little while if I kill and restart Squeeze Ctrl. It doesn't seem to matter whether or not I reboot the device. It's happening on both my tablet and phone. It's probably my server, but any insight would be helpful: Error Error fetching sleep choices: Network Error (Request Timeout) Error Error retrieving current playlist: Network Error (Request Timeout) jstraw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17008 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96757 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This will manifest itself with a log file full of LMS error message and the log file will grow very big and very quickly whenever BBciPlayer plays a stream. To check if this is root cause of the "rebuffering" problem - stop LMS, patch the one line of Select.pm, delete server.log file and restart LMS. If problem remains - then other things can be checked. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110244 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Great, tx. Any chance you could list the tray menu links in your screenshot as I'm having trouble configuring the skin one (can't get the syntax right) and yours look very useful? mr-b's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10044 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Its certainly an interesting way of doing things but having dabbled a bit with Internet Radio in the past I can see it would make the upload easier and I think there is some normalisation going on which may also be easier with blocks. There was a change in BBCiplayer which requires 7.9.1 but specifically a release after July 6 2018 - the plugin just checks for 7.9.1 so if you are on a pre-release it will give playback problems Check in file LMS file Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm The key revision is https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/commit/9ac99f232299629159700703808bbd128599ddc7#diff-b1b12c4be54eaca1718c9d0f03f041a0 bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110244 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer rebuffering
First usual log & setup info helps. * any BBCiplayer message in the log file such as "long delay" * any network related mesages in log - eg. cannot access mysqueezebox.com * Type of programe - live or on demand * any correlation with day/time (e.g. if at weekends - BBC & CDNs likes doing netwrok upgrades at weekends) * Location - are you in the UK,outside the UK, or using a VPN * type of player and network setup. * BBCiplayer plugin settings bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110244 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer rebuffering
Lately I have not been able to listen comfortably to BBC on demand streams because they keep rebuffering. Not just once or twice in a program but frequently. What's causing this, what further information can I give you, and how can I resolve this? As far as I am aware, there are no obvious changes in my system that would lead to the problem. But when you wake it up later, what I do t understand is that it does not respond to UPnP queries anymore. It only does so when you power cycle it. What do you see with applications like bubble UPnP for example or even foobar2000?
