Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Version 2.1 merged some options, in particular show ratings and show tech info. Before I had tech info shown in the player and ratings in the browser. This no longer seems to be possible now. While enabling tech info shows it in browser and player, enabling rating will only show it in player, but not in browser. Is it by design or a bug that ratings no longer can be shown in the browser? pberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10769 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

What does that actually mean? That I always need to first start the track and then synchronize the players? And starting a Spotify track to already synchronized players doesn't work? Yes, in the meantime I found this thread which also mentions that the Docker container needs to run in host mode: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?105187-Announce-Spotify-Protocol-Handler-play-Spotify-on-all-your-Squeezeboxen=854611=1#post854611 Nevertheless I gave up with the SPH, made sure that only Radios are synced (before there was one a Boom), and tried with only the official Logitech App. At some point it even worked and I got 3 radio playing synced Spotify (no clue what I did exactly. I essentially changed everything back and forth, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc), but suddenly I'm back with the "Invalid username or password error". Seems like getting a PhD is simpler that to stream synced Spotify with LMS :) pberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10769 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106528 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I also tried with SPH removed. While it works on some player, on other players an error occurs: Invalid Username or Password. I've Triodes Spotify plugin removed, only the SPH and official Logitech app running. But the SPH itself contains a helper app. I'm running LMS inside a Docker container on a x86 Synology NAS. I assume its a problem that the players cannot connect to the helper from SPH. But I wasn't able to figure out which ports I need to redirect to the Docker container to get it working. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify with synced players
garym wrote: > Hmmm. Odd. Any clues in the server logs on lms. Ah, it fails also if I check the "Always Stream via Helper" option. So it seems to be an issue with connecting to the helper app from the player (which would explain why it works as long as players are not synchronized, but fails as soon as they are since then they will use the helper app). Do you know which ports need to be open for th helper app? I opened the port on which the helper app is running (9006 in my case) for TCP. But this doesn't seem to be enough. pberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10769 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106528 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Install Spotify protocol handler lms plugin, with credentials Mmh thanks, this I've all done. What I don't get is that I have three players: A (Touch), B (Radio) and C (Radio). On every of them I can listen to Spotify. If I now synchronize B with A and play something on B it works on B but doesn't power on A. On the other hand if I synchronize B with C, both are powered on but I get the "Connection reset by host message" on both players. So it seems to be related to which players I synchronize together, even though I couldn't find a combination yet which acutally works. pberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10769 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106528 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify with synced players
Hi, I've Spotify installed on my local LMS server (7.9.0 - 1480066117 / x86_64-linux) using the SPH and official Logitech Spotify App. This works fine for single players, but fails as soon as two players (Radios) are synchronized with the error message "Connection reset by local host". I also tried to go back to Triodes plugin, which I already used earlier, but this no longer seems to work in my case. Helper app is running, an log means I'm successfully logged in, but there are a lot of ChannelErrors in the log, and all tracks are just skipping. Self-Test even fails with helper app not running. Does the SPH support synchronized players? Or what plugin should I use to have Spotify working with synchronized players? Thanks for the great plugin! One suggestion: Would it be possible to add a feature to override the Don't use online music services in your mixes. Use your own music files only. switch per mix? I generally will the mixes with spotify, but for some certain mixes I would prefer only my local music. pberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10769 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97668 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi Triode, First thanks for the plugin, works like a charm. Am I right with the assumption that the spotify stream always is transcoded to flac on the server before send to the player? Is there a way to respect the Bitrate Limiting setting of the player (I don't want to stream 320kbps over the internet, but still have High-Quality on directly connected players)? thanks pascal -- pberger pberger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10769 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
