do a system restore before it updated. Another suggestion for a browser that 
works well with windows 7 is crome. One site we were having some trouble with

Hi Andrew,

Chrome will work with your computer but, not with your version of Jaws.  You 
would need, at a minimum, Jaws 18 to work with your computer and Chrome.

Below is a download link to the first extended support release (ESR) of Firefox 
for version 52.8.1 32-bit Windows in US English. You can run Firefox 32-bit 
just fine even if you have a 64-bit system. I picked several versions into 
version 52 ESR because sometimes it takes them a few to work the kinks out. 
This version should work with your JAWS 13 but be aware that Firefox ESR is now 
on version 60.5.2 so this version is not current and could have security holes.

If you are able to buy the charger from the US then why not add a cable. 
Anyhow, I'm sure other companies make 4 inch or 6 inch Lightning cables. I find 
it strange that Anker is not available there, it is a German company as far as 
I know and one would think it's available all over Europe.

Hello list,

I apologise in advance if this sound as a sily question.

My friend has Iphone 6 S plus with the latest IOs update.

After updating IOS and Facebook messenger from Apstore, the default 
sound for incoming messages on FB messenger has changed from "ding" 
sound to the sound which you can hear when you get for example twitter 
notifications from regular twitter app for Iphone.


Does anyone have this issue and is there anyway how to get it fixed and 
change back to the "ding" sound?


I have Iphone 6 and the "ding" sound on FB messenger is still there.

It might not be a big deal, but she is used to the typical FB messenger 
sound. :-); that way she can quickly identify she has a new FB message.

Charging cables question, please, I need your help.

this might sound as a silly question, but I am just wondering, how do 
you take care of your apple chargers and charging cables? For example, 
when you are traveling, where do you carry themto prevent  them from 
damages?
I am asking because I spend quite much money to get new cables. Last 
time I purchased the cable which is apple certified, it is quite sturdy, 
made of aluminium, the conectors are made of metal; the cable is 
supposed to last longer than a regular aple cable, but I was clever 
enough to break it. :-(

Is it just me, or is there anyone else having issues with broken cables?

Hi,
I don’t know anything at all about this speaker myself but i know that AudioPro 
makes very good sounding speakers, so have a look at the AudioPro T3. It’s got 
a battery that according to themselves last for 30 hours, they have bluetooth 
but also a standard input jack for connecting your Victor Stream or similar. 
I’m thinking to get one myself when economy allows.

Hi, 
I use a Bose Mini SoundLink. You can buy a case to carry around. Connection via 
bluetooth for iPhone is perfect. I also use it with a cable for my iPod Nano. 
It has a very heavy base. It's really loud. You should ask my neighbours.

Hi,
The Sound Brick comes with two separate cables.
One is a line-in cable with the stereo 3.5 MM plugs on each end so one goes in 
the earphone jack of a device that doesn't have Bluetooth like the Victor 
Reader Stream and the other end into the line-in port on the back of the 
speaker.
The other is a USB standard plug on one end that would go into a computer or a 
USB charger like the iPhone charger, and the micro USB end that plugs into the 
speaker for charging.

It is about 6 inches long by about 2.5 inches tall and deep. It has a physical 
on/off switch, comes with a line-in cable, and the usb micro cable for 
charging. The frequency response is 80 KHZ to 2 KHZ.
The battery is good for 8 to 10 hours.
I think it sounds great! But, sound is very subjective.
Whatever you try, make sure there is a good return policy in case you get one 
that you don't like.

one I will always use is the Speck Products CandyShell grip case. Feels
great in the hand and is very classy looking. Amazon has many of them in

Please, I need your help with internet on the iphone.

Hi list,
I use internet conection on my iphone everyday. When I am at home, I am 
always on wifi network. When I am outside I use mobile data.
My question is: I always turn mobile data off when I at home and my wifi is 
activated automatically.
Please, is it possible to set the iphone the way to activate wifi when it is 
awailable and when wifi is not available, mobile data would be activated so 
I don't have to activate mobile data each time.
Last night when I got back home I somehow forgot turn mobile data off, but 
also had wifi activated at the same time. So to which data 
iphone had access? Wifi or mobile?

I hope this makes sense and my questions don't sound too sily.
