Hi Tom, Thank you, but I didn’t need to remove the Sem card after all. Removing the Sem card wouldn’t have helped my issue. I hope this isn't just another case of each company blaming the other, but ... the simm tray is opened by pushing a tiny pin, end of a paperclip, or such, into the tiny hole on the left side of the phone, I think about 1/3 of the way from the bottom. Richard, I just now got a call back from T-Mobile, and they talked to Apple. T-Mobile said they are waiting for Apple to call them back again to see what the fix for this issue is.
