Most of the time, it is one user spamming. In order to delete all pages created by that user, you can use the extension available at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Special:Nuke - simply enter the user's name, and a list of all his pages are shown. Beware that pages you mark there will be *deleted*. In case a valid page was spammed afterwards, changes will not be reverted back, but the whole page is deleted. I've prepared an unpublished website page and was wondering if using iframe attributes are OK? Does using iframe cause any problems or are there any concerns that I should be aware of? I am also wondering about the width of the calendar, is 800x600 OK or should it be larger? It should still be usable on netbooks. I know there is a calendar plugin for SilverStripe, but using a Google Calendar adds a little more flexibility and the learning curve for admin help is zero as many people are familiar with Google Calendar. Note that you have to be logged into SilverStripe to see the unpublished page (unless someone knows of a way to see the unpublished page). Note that the wiki page version is identical to the proposed main site version. You can find the calendar on this wiki page[1]. I've input some of the upcoming date into the calendar. When we go online with this page in the wiki IMHO a normal user should not be able to change this page but only admins. I am want to test/use a version for the main website but need to check on a couple of technical points, but this means that we would only need to input data once and have it appear both on the wiki and website at the same time. If there are no problems with the website Google Calendar, then, I will just go and publish the page on the site under the About Us menu. Comments are welcome. The next question will be: Can I put it on my own Thunderbird (or something else) calendar? If so, the link and a short HowDo should be implemented. and one more ... Can we have this calendar on our localized LibO webpage too but only with localized dates?! Can I have it on my personal website, blog etc.? Maybe the last will be a decision of the board. -- Grüße k-j -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to website+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

[libreoffice-website] [Wiki] Non-readable Captcha
Hi webadmins, on documentation ml a person had the problem to create an account because she was not able to read the captcha. (For me it is also really hard to read). There is no speaker icon or so and so this is not barrier free. There is no hint except more info. When I look at the help page [2] there is mentioned that people who have problems should call the site administrators. But the link is empty. So a new possible user gets no help. Some thoughts from me: - Can we make a barrier free captcha in the near time? - If not: - Can we make the hints in [2] more public in the page [1]? Nobody will click on the link more info when he is not able to read the captcha. He doesn't need infos, he needs help. -Can we fulfill the link in the help page so that a new user gets really help? [libreoffice-website] Pre-Releases download page
Hi all, two little things to the download page for pre-releases [1]: - Why is there a green ok button for a pre-release? There should be no or even an orange attention button. Pre-release is never ok. - To reduce the work on the page: Shouldn't we write the headline without any annoucement of the version and date? It is important when we should get two different pre-release versions. Or will this never happens? Hmm, having two places for download for me doesn't appear beeing an ideal solution. People might come over several ways to download and not having the joice in *one* place they might catch the wrong one. So my vote: *One* download page. +1 FYI: The design team plan to have a adopt-o-meter to give the user the possibility to decide wich version is the right: http://go.mail-archive.com/2jzoifmDbaRdEKwXvnLS5RF2_qI= Also Christoph mentioned on the design-list [2]: Am 23.05.2011 15:49, schrieb Christoph Noack: Mmh, the adopt-o-meter shows it nicely (which is good), but the decision itself has to be done by the user (how to select the desired LibO version, where do I find it, ...). Can this be somehow aligned with the download selector on the website? Something like: * Official Release, for home and office use -- default * Highly stable, for corporate use * Newest Features, for early adopters So, the users may decide - but don't need to. And the decision to go for (e.g.) stability is directly tied to a certain version - no additional lookups. Hi Marc, Paulo, Am 26.04.2011 13:23, schrieb Paulo de Souza Lima: 2011/4/26 Marc Parém...@marcpare.com For some reason, I have had problems with the wiki page in edit mode. I default to the Rich editor mode. If I choose Disable Rich Editor and do some edits and them save, I have had all the data disappear. The times this has happened is when I have added the script to add the native language header. For example: pspan class=fck_mw_templatespan class=fck_mw_templatespan class=fck_mw_template{{Lang|LibreOffice eslóganes}}/span/span/spanbr / /p After I added this and chose Save page, the data disappeared and the script line came back corrupted. I was away for 2-3 weeks. Were there any changes done to the editor while I was away? I would still prefer to work in rich text mode. I would be sad if it were not working properly :-( That's true. I'm facing this problem since I use the rich text editor (for the last three months). So, I stoped using it.
