Are Bridgewave radios flawlessly stable at this point? They’ve only been out a
few years so I wasn't sure if the software was there.

IANAL but this is not true. If there is an easement granted for “electrical
service” but nothing else, then it does not cover
fiber/telephone/catv/water/gas/magic.
Spend some time in the courtho
The people I have spoken with said that after the most recent software
update they haven't had any issues. Harris/Stratex/Aviat obviously has a
longer/better track record.

How does the system gain compare between the Aviat and Bridgewave radios? I
don't see anything listed on the publicly available spec sheet for the
Bridgewave.

I often use Dia for things like you describe.

Bridgewave has been doing radios for a very long time, but yes, this model is
new.

Yes, I've heard a lot of not so great things about their older millimeter
wave gear, however.

For what it's worth, we haven't had any problems with our new-ish
Bridgewave millimeter links.
I'm wondering if Bridgewave actually makes the Navigator themselves anyway
though... these radios appear to be more than a little bit similar...

Latest info I have lists the system gain for the Bridgewave Navigator balanced
version, 80 MHz bw, 4096 QAM at 72.5 dBm compared to the Aviat radio at 77.5 dBm

I have had a bad experience with two new Flex4G-1 links, the fancy
new 10 gigabit ones that came out in 2018. It was so bad I bought a

So, the two radios seem to be pretty similar as far as features and price
go (looks like Aviat may be a bit cheaper, but I'd have to look closer at
what all is included as far as warranty, etc on each).
The main advantages for Aviat seem to be a bit better system gain, and a
better/longer track re
Is the lower system gain partially due to the field replaceable diplexer?

Oh, yay. I have a Flex4G-1 link on the shelf that I'm planning on
deploying soon.
