I did a little research myself, and, this what I found on Isabel de Castro:

I think Tomas said it pretty much, and I'd have to agree with the part

As one who has never gone down this road before, which one would be the best to
start with? I am the last of my particular line being an only child with both
my parents deceased. I have one paternal aunt still alive but it's my Mom's
line I have the least amount information - any suggestions o
I would recommend the Family Finder test. The family finder will have
matches which will be within the last 4-5 generations. If you don't know
where your family came from that will give you a good idea where to start
looking.

Hi David,Manuel Goncalves Carvalho and Maria de Melo are also my ancestors.I do know about all the others you mentioned and presume there must be a close relation, but as yet, I haven't pieced together any facts leading to my Manuel Goncalves Carvalho being the same one who married Catarina Pereira

so TODAY I got an email conformation that my DNA kit from 23andme is being
sent out.
Guess I'll have to act on this one now too, although, I have

David,It's interesting what you found about the parents of the single mother Maria do Espirito Santo. It isn't stated in the marriage, but when Francisco married, he might not have known it was to a cousin. They are related in the the 3º e 4º grau de consanguinidade. Common ancestors are Bezerra.Doug
OK, to add a little perspective.
Sale price first, then group price (when you join the Azores Project...or

This sale was a complete surprise for us admins. We had no advance notice on

were thinking it would be only one produce like the Family Finder Sale last
year.
