If you don't know the park, pipit point is at the south east end of the
park. It's a 5km walk 1 way mostly on a paved road. Or you can cycle.

Bird showing well on the beach or the adjacent bank. Nearly at the end of
pipit point, east side.
Tommy Thompson Park is at the foot of leslie street. Expect to park a fair
distance, the bird festival is on today.

A variety of birds are being seen, but in small numbers.
Yellow-breasted chat was found at the end of maintenance trail - follow the
footpath as far as you can go.
Clay coloured sparrow was seen at the north end of the campground and the
brush pile/ compost pile at the entrance to the Log Pond

Has Moved north from original location. Walk down to Pipit Point - Endicment.
Where the road turns to the right stop at the pile of rocks. The bird is to the
left. Look for birders!

May 21. Check ou
Bird activity and variety continues to increase in the park.
Both Tilden and Woodland Nature Trail had lots of birds singing including
RED-EYED VIREOS, TENNESSEE WARBLERS, NORTHERN PARULAS, BLACK-THROATED BLUE
WARBLERS, BLACKPOLL WARBLERS, BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLERS and BLACKBURNIAN
WARBLER
After searching for past couple hours Kirtland's has not been re-located
in the campground area. Lots of birds were moving quickly north but it may
have settled in somewhere just north of park. Reading my prior post bird
was first located in the SE end of campground site 306 before flying north,

Observed at 800am at North end of campground in Cedar trees bird stayed
2min then continued North sang twice still possibly in campground area
currently trying to relocate. Lots warblers moving North through park.
