is there anything similiar to the fso commands to set the display brightness in
qtmoko v36? I would like to extend my navit xml by a button to automatically dim
to 10% (first click) and back to 90% (second click).

start gpsd.

i still have problems with qtmoko v39 to use navit or tango/foxtrotgps.
would you mind to post your gpsd file and the navit.xml line for your gpsd
connection?
I start gps manually via the gps on script beforehand and nerongps gets a nice
fix, in contrast to navit :-(

I also like the quickwriting idea lot.
looking at their side there is also a layout where you have two of the primary
selection boxes side by side. that would fit nicely when you hold the freerunner
in landscape mode and would make an input with the thumbs possible. One could
even add a row for ex

I just started navit and when I go for town search the keyboard is able to
display pretty much any odd character one wishes for ö,ü, ... so I rather
think, that I missed something in Radek's key naming system, which should be
easily solvable.

solutions, which can then be selected, this might be the bottom taskbar
though.

I guess bytesize is the wrong wording. I think that is the "chunk" which is
passed at once. I have seen other values for it eg 4096,2048. The higher you
set it the faster the whole process will go. But I don't know if there are
limitations to what one can set this value savely to.

I don't quite understand this. You show in your youtube video that the
freerunner can show elephants dreams which is 240x320 scaled to 480x640.
how is this different for the graphics card than showing a "native"
480x640 movie?

I can confirm Dmitry's report. this has been the case for at least the last 3

NeronGPS got its fix after 1.5minutes and Navit under QX also started the
