I tried purging the mono font packages, then supertuxkart and then
reinstalling supertuxkart from scratch.
This way the installation was working fine.
I do not know what happened (why the first installation of supertuxkart did
not work), but I solved the problem.

Alright; I didn't interpret "Our builds were failing" as a missing
runtime dependency but I understand now.

I did delete /etc/init.d/iptables from my system as id did not come
with the packages.
