There was a post on xen-users acknowledging the bug that says it's
fixed in XEN 4.11: https://lists.xenproject.org/archives/html/xen-users

This bug is still present in Debian squeeze (tar 1.23-2.1). I can't
create incremental backups with tar.

It seems that this is fixed in actual svn r2193. The manpage has to
be updated as well.
Command line options parsing was rewritten recently by Reuben Thomas and
this bug seems to be fixed by his patches

mutexes are locked
you end up with a child that has only one thread and global data that
were modified in critical sections in other threads at the moment of fork()
are inconsistent. Also, mutexes are unusable in the child.
See the above pthread_atfork() description to find out more.

in ~/.moc/config as
MOC doesn't support non-ASCII characters in this config file, especially
UTF-8 character won't work. Unfortunately it's not just a case of a
simple fix.

leave it and MOC plays all files - it creates a hidden playlist from the
directory content at the time when you've requested playing and uses it.
One of side effects caused by the hidden playlist is what you've
described, but it's not a bug.

are working!
Thanks, this is really a valuable information. Since I don't have any
64bit box, I've reviewed the cache code and found one possible problem.
The patch is attached. Can you try it?

On Sun, 08 Jun 2008 the mental interface
version with AAC plugin on debian unstable and the stream
works.
If aac plugin is built-in, it's displayed at the end of ./configure
output and then should work. You can also run mocp -SDF log and see if
the aac plugin is loaded without errors.

compiles and plays MPC files, but seeking and displaying the bitrate
doesn't work. The patch is attached and will be included in the next
alpha release.

can also set ShowTime to yes to read all tags sooner, not at exit and

They are scheduled to read when they appear in the interface: when
you've entered a directory with audio files, recursively added a
directory to the playlist etc. They are loaded in background.

Hi Damian,
what do you think of that idea? Should it go into 2.5.0?
Seems to be a good change, I think I'll merge it.

said UTF-8 support is in 2.4. I'm not going to include it into
MOC, because it's not so easy :). For example: with this patch it is
possible to run MOC only with ncursesw (which not everybody has) and
probably only in UTF-8 terminal.
