I have the same problem: after a security update last night on 20.04
LTS, firefox is now completely broken (displays a window frame with no
content inside, ie it just copies the background image that was
underneath on startup in the framebuffer?).
firefox does work if I pass it a URL at startup.
On Debian does no longer work after updates. Update list in attachment.

I am using Xming 7.7.0.60 on Windows 10 Pro 20H2 version 19042.746 build
with WSL2.
Even after a while the GUI won't open. If I run `terminator` command
from wsl terminal it opens fine on Xming, so I don't think it's X server

I assume I had to rename "ddeb" to "deb" in extension. I did that and
redo the journalctl command line. Here's the file it outputs.
I don't see anything different, but I don't realy know what i'm

important one here. Unfortunately it is "strange" as you say, because
debug symbols are not installed.

Just one more description, for information... My bug is a crash of gnome
that redirect me to login screen, not a full reboot. So the shutdown
information at the end of the "prevboot.txt" are not related to the bug.

Today happened again. I was working with remote desktop Remmina to
access my work-computer using Windows and suddenly mouse icon
disappeared and keyboard stopped responding.
This time background musing running on my Ubuntu host did not stop
playing, it looks like laptop did not completely freeze.

your two pinctrl patches arrived at Pop OS kernel 5.8. But I had to
revert them cause without 3rd patch (gpio) they don't help with
touchpad. And 3rd patch gives an error during kernel build, so it can't
be applied.
