GTK support yes (3.24.14)

It works, due to the fallback implemented by [1][2].
But obviously without all the VTE features, I'd prefer a more fine grained fix

Bug 1238747 might be the cause of this bug, or it might be a separate
unrelated crash. I don't know enough about XFCE to be able to tell.

Seeing the issue still with Version: 3.4.2-4ubuntu1. Radio streams just stop
with the "internal data stream error". Other players such (VLC, TuneIn app)
play the same stations/URLs just fine.
It takes at most a few minutes for the error to occur so it renders Rhythmbox

No, pipewire is not in main. That link in comment #3 shows it is in

Hi, Ubuntu update solved the problem for me.
Today runs my weekly Ubuntu update. After the update I recognized that the
problem was gone. To verify it, I reboot (was not required by the todays
update) and tried to recreate the problem.
No chance after one hour of mouse and keyboard inactivity.

Upgrading was not an option, the broken system was removed, but I did
a full os upgrade, and the "bundled" extensions seems to work.
I filed another report via the crash detector, it seems that
additional packages are needed to configure the extensions.
Also a bunch of extensions are not ava

any scaling for any of my monitors without the monitor turning blank for
15 seconds and reverting to 100% scaling.

I have the same laptop HP ZBook 15 G6 and my mike is not recognised too.
I'm using ubuntu 18.04 kernel version 5.3.0-28-generic, and with the
newer kernels my whole sound card is not recognised.
