I would advise everyone to not buy any Acer notebook. Their build

I've downloaded Akshar.ttf (unicode hindi font) and want to install it
'system-wide', i.e. all applications installed on the system should be
able to use it.
I tried using 'defoma' (DEbian FOnt MAnager) to install the font, but

You could use something called SSH X Forwarding... I forget the exact
name right now.
The good-ol' method is:
