What you *should* do is have a lastUpdated field in your posts table, and
the value inserted into their is the date when you update it.
Then your query would be like

Firstly wouldn't it be easier to store the resumes in the database?

This script is confusing the hell out of me...
What its suppose to do is do a search on documents, and then is it finds
something say who and where it is, but it repeats the message for every hit.

Looks like your missing your FROM portion of your query. That's pretty
important.
Also, how do you know when a post is new? Are you just assuming that if the
database returns it with your LIMIT condition that it comes off the top of
the list and is new? I don't think that's too reliabl
