Emma,
Ideas:
- Inclusion of Bond and Hupa in the james-server bundle, so as when james
starts we have a tool for administrating it and another for reading emails
like other enterprise email solutions. It should be configurable though, so
as administrators can enable/disable them.
- Authentication

I suppose you have downloaded and compiled
the apache-james-3.0-beta4-source-release.zip [1] from the download page

If you compile `hupa`, you will have a set of classes in the
`client/target/generated-sources` created by the gwtc compiler after
running some internal generators.
I think, other subprojects of james do not generate any java class.

Hi all.
As you know thanks to GSoC 2012, we have had a student (Echo) working on

As result of this work we have an evolution of Hupa hosted in the Apache

Gwt Anchor widget is thought to maintain the user in the same page so as
the app is not replaced accidentally. So the correct code is:
Anchor a = new Anchor("click me");
a.addClickHandler(new ClickHandler() {
public void onClick(ClickEvent event) {
Window.open("/show_attachmen
Hi echo, a couple of advices
- Don't make commits without log message. Logs are very useful to follow
activity or to know why something has changed.
- Try to follow a set of formatting rules so as the code is more readable
with the repo viewer [1], especially use spaces instead of tabs.

Hi echo,
Actually the mail server is our datasource, and we get from it very few
type of objects, just folders and messages.
Folders and messages are not entities in the traditional sense of the
concept because normally they do not change, so I would not use entities
but values.
It is pretty eas

One more thing, I've seen that you are getting a good knowledge of gin !,
so I think you could remove many boilerplate code in constructors if you
annotate classes attributes like this:
Before
private final Displayable display;
private final EventBus eventBus;
private fina
to start working with RF, I set the
dependencies, poms, put a examples and tests.
To avoid the memory issue try to add this line in the properties block of

Hi all,
It's time to release apache Hupa 0.2.
Hupa is quite functional right now, and I would like to release 0.2 before
we hopefully add a lot of changes coming from the Hupa-evolution project at
the end of Summer.
You can test what hupa-0.2 does:
1.- At these demo urls:
http://james.zones.apac
For some reason tests are failing in your system, you can compile Hupa
without running tests, just run:
mvn package -Dmaven.test.skip

Just a recommendation about code style, could you use 4 spaces instead of
tabs?, it makes the code more readable in the repository.
There are a few more points in code-styling which if you consider from the
beginning would make easier merge with james in the future (license header,
java docs, ...)
Hi Eric
Lately, there have been some improvements in the way how the server parses
mime messages to represent them as html.
Anyway we are not caching in server side nor pre-fetching messages so when
you ask for a message the server has to download the entire message via
imap (which includes all a
1.- I have activated https in the web server (with a self-signed server
certificate) and I have updated the demo index page [1] adding the new link
and noticing the user about the issue.
2.- I'm opened an issue to infra [2] asking about a valid certificate
3.- Ioan, I've marked your issue [3] as
