As promised, this is an update to say that I haven't had any problems
since updating to the new pm-utils script posted by Alexander (a little

I just made the changes you suggested. I did *not* change the name of
the file (it is still 10NetworkManager). I rebooted and so far so good.
However, as the problem is sporadic, I'll post an update in a couple
days to say whether the problem comes back.

I can confirm that I am having the same problem, which means that the
toggleAllWirelessStates function does not work as it should.
I am running a Thinkpad Z60m with 2.6.20-16-generic with acpi_support 0.95 in
Feisty Fawn (7.04).
I also receive the same error as Herbert:
# echo -n 2 > ath0/device
I have a Thinkpad Z60m, and when using acpi_listen I can see an event
generated when I press Fn+F5. However, there is a problem in another
file that is preventing the toggle switch from working, see bug #120955
for details.

I've been looking around and found lots of references to "rf_kill" when

There is no reason in particular why I installed resolvconf. If I
remember correctly, when I first installed Ubuntu on my laptop, network-

I stumbled upon resolvconf and installed it because it seemed to make
sense. I installe

I'm also experiencing this issue, except the file isn't always placed in my

Most times it ignores the selected directory, but occasionally it honors my

I'm having the exact same problem when minimizing a fullscreen instance of

This started right around the same time as I saw this article:

I suspect this might be a regression as a side effect of fixing this bug:

I am experiencing the same problem. I have remmina 0.9.3 (on Ubuntu

described above.

I believe there is a workaround, for those who haven't read the comments
in Bug 1053895 or Bug 1063690
The problem started when "Unredirect Fullscreen Windows" became the
default (bug 1063690), and the problem goes away when "Unredirect
Fullscreen Windows" is unchecked.
You can either turn off "U
This exact same issue effects Remmina as well. If you are adding
Virtualbox as another unredirect exception, you should add Remmina as
well.
