Title says it all. I'd like Mozilla Songbird support from music-applet,
at the very least simple Play/Pause and Next track.

the program using the original start-program "StartCOMset.sh" from Auerswald is
running on ubuntu 6.06
the same program with the same start-program from Auerswald is not running on
ubuntu 6.10. But, if I create a starter for my own such as
cd ~/COMset/COMset-2.6.18;

blurred images. Could not get native 1920x1080 resolution to display.
Very well. I'll need to reinstall 14.04.4, as that is the only one I
have that works. All of the 16.04 flavors run with unreadable
displays. Let me know if that will be useful for you, and I'll do it today.

XFCE DEs better than Unity, and the Xubuntu and MATE Ubuntu
flavors are not supported as long as 2019. I will likely have to buy a
new machine when Mint 17.3 ceases to be supported, but I have time.
Meanwhile, I have fairly new apps and a stable system. Thanks for your
efforts, anyway.

nm-applet is critically leaking memory (tops 300Mb to 500Mb).
Usage of my Xubuntu as a server while opening a desktop environment is
consequently impossible : my 3Gb of RAM memory are filled within the day.
More generaly, some other desktop applets seem leaking memor
confirmed for 9.10 unr in live mode.
