I've waited for years that someone took over this plugin, since it was for me
the most useful
zeitgeist plugin I had.
Unfortunately, I followed the instructiones you wrote here, and the ones in the
README file, but it
still doesn't work.

I really like Downloads folder being monitored, really handy! The problem is
that FF
creates a *.part file until the download is finished, so in the end you get two
files in the DB, yet
the *.part one has ceased to exist and is redundant.
I'll humbly recommend:

and omgubuntu. They are following with interest the whole zeitgeist
thing, and have many readers.

Thanks :) It works now.
Your path to the music is hardcoded into the file. Therefore, g-a-j
shows that the file played was under /pieter/Muziek/.
I found other issues, but anyway, this is experimental and sure you are
working on the rough edges..

The plugin stores the now playing song into zeitgeist, but fails about 5
seconds later with:

As a new zeitgeist g-a-j user, I didn't know about «..read notes»
category, and seeing it on the wild with an already created «...read
documents» made me think it was wrong, as well as seeing that Synapse's
results didn't group those notes under documents. But that's a Sy
