Prof Nishith Rai,
vice-chancellor,
Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, from
discharging his duties till the enquiry against him is pending.
Rai
 is facing corruption charges. In its meeting on Saturday, the general
council (GC) of the university also decided that a retired judge will
conduct an
inquiry in Rai's case. This is the second time that the state
government has refrained Rai from functioning as the VC...In August
2017, the government
had instituted an enquiry against Rai for alleged irregularities in university
appointments.
He was asked not to discharge his duties till the probe report is
submitted...It’s political vendetta: Rai..Rai is also accused of
continuing as director
of Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies at LU even when he was
SMNRU VC.
Rai said, “This is political vendetta. The decision to refrain me from
performing my duties is illegal and mala fide. The GC has committed
contempt of
court and gross illegality in the proceedings of general council...

A few weeks ago we had taken your feedback on the accessibility of Ola
App. We have been working closely with the Ola team to make the app
accessible on both Android and IOS since then. The team has been very
responsive to our feedback and have made certain design enhancements.
They have focused on the Main booking flow and Ola Money accessible on
priority so far. So please download or update the Ola app on both
Android and IOS to experience enhanced accessibility.

The Ola team has made the following screens accessible:
• Booking screen
• Trip screen
• Ola Money
• Rating screen (in IOS)

In case you face any challenge in the above mentioned features or the
rest of the app, you may write to us and we will pass on the feedback.

One of my friends said me that when he went at Talking ATM at his
location, ATM guard refused him to inject headphone to use talking
ATM. Guard  was unaware about it. Guard called to his branch officials
but officials was also unaware about their own talking ATM. Awareness
is a big issue.

Hello BGFI team,
Kudos to your efforts. I first noticed  precisely on 20 Jan 2018 that Ola app 
appeared to be accessible on my iPhone & I could book a ride easily on my own. 
Since then I've used it 3 to 4 times without major hassles except once when I 
could not give a 2 star rating to a driver and minimum it accepted was a 3 
start; not sure if it  was designed that way or it was an access issue. These 
were cash paid trips; haven't tried Ola money screens after this access 
improvement.
 
Good for Ola as it will get them too business from blind people which till now 
only their rival Uber enjoyed it . I hope Ola pays professional fee to BGFI for 
this business consultancy.

On IOS, calling driver is not accessible yet. also after booking is confirmed, 
app becomes sluggish while navigating to vehicle details and OTP. Sometimes 
vehicle details and OTP is not navigable easily.
