hi,

I would also vote for you should teach your wife how to drive. Literacy can be
tought.

Enrole her to a driving school.

Purchase a new, or a second hand car. Thats totally up to you. But, the thing I
want to add. Is that, Purchase a car which have a safety rating of 5stars or
atleest 4stars. From Globel N cap.

Because, accidents can happen anytime no matter how good the driver. I know,
here, people might say that, The exident can happen and no body can save you.
But, with a good build quality of a car can even increase your survival chances
to 1%. Why not go with it?.

RE: [AI] a query regarding car driving

2024-01-02 Thread prashant.rv
I have purchased a EV recently. In terms of driving it is very easy and
comfortable.

However, one needs to have at least one charging location in control, either
home or office.

I think I will have lot of learnings in coming days since it has been less than
a week.

Hi Pranav,

Thanks your valuable advise as far as EV charging point is concerned, I have to
check with my maintenance department. and that is only possible after moving to
my new apartment, also I have to check where is my parking space has been
allotted.

Any way thanks for your guidance.

Gufran,

The kind of transmission depends on the driver. Your wife will have to learn
manual gear shifting before transitioning to automatic transmission. Keep your
first car with a manual gearshift. Ideally, your wife can best answer this
question once she learns driving.

The thing with automatic gears is that you still need to understand the
performance of the car at different speeds. These cars also consume more fuel
because the engine is permanently accelerated.

I own a car with automatic transmission. I always check with any new driver if
he has ever handled such a vehicle.

Other list members have covered the rest of your queries. I would add my vote
for teaching your wife driving. As for literacy, that can be taught and is like
any other skill.

I have also considered electric vehicles. How many kilometers do you cover in
a week? Most vehicles have a range of 250 kilometers before they need to be
charged.

You do get chargers that plugin into a regular 15 ampere wall outlet as far as
I know but they are comparatively slow.

Pranav

Re: [AI] a query regarding car driving

2024-01-02 Thread gufran ahmed
Hi Muzammil, Sir, I am already using caps like Uber, Rapido et cetera But it is
quite costly. For example, if I go to home from my office which is just 4.5 km
and Uber charge ₹226 for that trip whereas the bike taxi is quite cheap, but it
is not feasible to travel on a bike With some unknown person as I am also
overweighted and it is it depends on the person who drives the bike. Some
person may drive horse, bike, harsh biking or some drive in normal speed and
your second option is regarding car. Pulling I am also searching for that but
in my case it is not feasible for me as Nobody lives near me from my office

Hello friends. Hope you all are doing well. I need a small help from you
all. Actually I need the full album of the Geet Ramayan or all songs of the
Geet Ramayan. Geet Ramayan is a Marathi music album by Sudhir phadke. This
album depicts the story of lord Ram in the form of bhajans. So I want to
download all the songs of this album in my smartphone. So if anyone has the
idea of how and from where to download all the songs of this album in my
smartphone internal storage then please let me know. Thanks and regards.

Re: [AI] a query regarding car driving

2024-01-02 Thread DR MD Muzamil Hussain
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and valuable suggestions in this
important topic.
Well I would like to add for mr Gufran , as some time, The idea of
using a cab service, like Ola or others, for enhancing your mobility
is another option. You should explore this option to make yourb travel
more convenient and efficient.
Carpooling is also a great idea, not just for the practical aspects
but also for fostering interactions with colleagues. I believe it can
create a positive and collaborative work environment.
Well it is a challenge to balance personal and professional life,
especially for visually impaired individuals.
It's truly heartening to see a wife taking on the role of a driver for
her visually impaired husband – a demonstration of love and support
that must be appreciated. However, it's crucial to recognize the
multifaceted responsibilities that she juggles, from managing domestic
chores and attending to the needs of children to fulfilling her own
personal commitments.

While the occasional act of being a driver brings joy and a sense of
togetherness, it's important to approach this situation with a
rational mindset. Understanding the various demands on her time and
energy allows for a balanced perspective. Perhaps exploring
alternative transportation options or collaborating on a schedule that
accommodates everyone's responsibilities could be considered.

In navigating these considerations, the key lies in fostering open
communication and mutual understanding. This ensures that both
partners actively contribute to the well-being of the family while
maintaining a harmonious balance in their individual lives.

Wishing you both continued love, understanding, and shared support.

Warm regards.
