Recently I got the chance to work under eoffice module and faced the same problem that you discussed in previous mail I use NVDA with eoffice Recently when I updated the NVDA with 2023 .1 latest version the cursor and entered under green note and I am comfortable in writing as well as reading earlier notes under that Efile. Hi, The same happened with Samsung Microwave. Last year when I searched that Samsung Microwave with speech in several stores they told that model has been discontinued by the company. For developing new or alternate security of Websites they have skilled IT professionals. Our aim should be to get rid of this irritating captcha which is a big hurdle in accessibility. I have to daily solve 10-15 captcha in my office. Its very difficult and irritating to take sighted help each time. However We don't need to solve any captcha in using SBI net banking.Does it mean that SBI has compromised with their websites security? I think SBI has made some alternate provisions instead of using captcha for security Then why not other developers can do the same. [AI] Needs legal advice for complaint filed with CCPD against SAIL.
Hi all,
I am urgently in need of some expert legal advice in a complaint filed
by me to CCPD against SAIL recruitment notice of Management Trainee
(Technical). The deadline for submitting my comments to CCPD in the
matter is 15/11/2013. It would be great help to me if someone could
advice in preparing valid points for submitting comments in favour of
my case to CCPD.
I am pasting below the entire case history in three parts:

On the subject cited above I am to draw your kind attention towards
the recent Recruitment notice published by SAIL (Copy encl.) debarring
Visually impaired candidates for all the posts of Mgmt. Trainee
(Technical) including Computer Science(IT).
It is not out of place to mention here that today with the development
of assistive technology / screen reading software VI candidates are
competent to discharge their responsibilities assigned to them at par
with normal candidates in all walks of life. They are performing well
in various organizations on similar technical posts like Banks, FCI,
NTPC, CIL ,etc.
It appears that SAIL has not reviewed the list of identified posts
since long or has ignored the capabilities of VI candidates without
considering the recent developments in technology violating the
guidelines / provisions under Section 32(B) of the Persons with
Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full
Participation) Act, 1995 {1 of 1996}.
It is, therefore, requested to kindly direct SAIL to review and
update the list of identified posts immediately to allow Visually
impaired(Blindness or low vision) candidates to apply for the post of
Management Trainee (Technical) specially in computer science(IT) with
relaxation in medical standards accordingly in the current recruitment
process.
I shall be thankful if I am Acknowledged of action taken in the matter.

2. We have examined the matter at our end and as mentioned in the
notice itself, die Ministry of Social Justice Empowerment vide
notification no.16.70/2004-DD-III dated 18/01/2007 have not
identified MT(T) as suitable for persons with visual impairment.
3. As regards the suggestion for employment of visually impaired
persons as programmers or software engineer, we would like to mention
that as and when such posts are advertised, Ms. Jyotsna can apply
against the same alongwith others. The nature of job being quite
different it would not be desirable to equate a Programmer with a
MT(T).
4. In the instant case, the Management Trainees (Technical) with
Computer Science / IT background is deployed not as a programmer but
is responsible for developing and managing the automated production
processes, controlled through computer programming at the shop floor
where the steel making process is going on.

Hi,
I personally prefer to use general softwares instead of specially
designed softwares because its not possible to install these software
everywhere on each PC at colleges and workplace resulting we have no
option other than to stuck to single PC due to the reason that we
can't operate them without such specially designed software. On the
other hand, using general software also saves PC from unnecessary load
of extra software and improves our capability to independently to use
any PC anywhere.

Rather, I would suggest that you should use Hindi Varnamala software which
is prepared by Him Prasad Gautam, a volunteer from Nepal. He has also
prepared such a softwaree for writing Gujarati. And believe me, it's so
simple! I'm so impressed! We, the Gujaratis, are very indebted to him for
preparing Gujarati TTS engine and the Varnamala. Let me know if you want

Hi Nikita, When comes the question of functionality of NVDA, several times I found it quite accessible and useful with its mouse tracking feature which when enabled NVDA will announce the text currently under the mouse pointer, specially in case where Jaws does not works. Another one is its ability of support for hindi language. However, our ultimate goal is to be productive for our organization either with the help of Jaws or NVDA. Hence it would be better to purchase JAWS along with permission to use NVDA. After installation press insert + N to get NVDA menu, press down arrow once to select preferences submenu then right arrow once then down arrow twice to select voice setting dialogue box, press h three times and you will hear hindi, press enter. Now, you can read hindi text. To write Hindi, after making above setting , open MS Word press left alt with left shift key and NVDA will announce layout devnagari enscript. Now you can enjoy typing hindi. You can toggle between hindi and english typing by pressing left alt +left shift in between as per requirement. Feel free to contact for further guidance. Hi, I myself have raised this querry and got the solution. To read hindi text with NVDA, press NVDA + n, go to preferences submenu then voice settings and select Hindi. Now you can read hindi text. To write text with NVDA, one extra step is to change region and language under format tab in control panel to hindi(india). For sending multiple files, you have to send it as a zipped file. Steps: If you go to my documents, you will find an icon my drop box . Open it and you will find public folder. Open this public folder and paste your desired file in this folder. Now it will start uploading To check it's status of uploading, press insert+f11 to open the system tray icon and check with down arrow keys dropbox, or just press letter D, and mister jaws would say something like, dropbox 1 file uploading... Once it is uploaded, it would say, dropbox all files up to date . Once it's done, go to my dropbox/public folder, and keep the cursor on your file which you are uploading. Here, press the application key, and open dropbox sub menu, and then finally, hit enter on copy public link option. Now go to your desired place, or the Email which you are sending and just paste the link there, and you are ready to go! Now about share folder option: 1st trying to throw a spot light on this option: share folder option gives us freedom to share a folder between computers. So any file kept in this folder, will be available in both the computers. Aha! remembering the awsome movie, 3 ediots , toe demo kar kay bataana chaahta hoo. Imagine, we are sharing a folder named, Krishna . Now, go to your my dropbox, which will be in my documents by default, and create a folder, and name it as Krishna. Now copy your desired file which you want me to send, and paste it into Krishna folder. Now with up arrow key, hit enter on share this folder... option . Now the dropbox web page will be opened... Once it's been loaded, look for Enter recipient email addresses here . Under this you will find an edit box saying, Enter recipient email addresses here edit. There are several qualities which we can count as the soft skill and here I am going to throw some lights on these five skills and these are- 1. Communication Skill. 2. Interpersonal Skill. 3. Time Management. 4. Networking and socializing. 5. Personal grooming and etiquettes. 1.Can you please tell me which all things can be considered as the communication skill? Communication is the medium through we express our views and opinion to others and simultaneously we come to know about the other’s view and opinion. There are two types of communications- 1. Verbal communication and 2. Written communication. In verbal communication we converse with people face to face or a through telephonic conversation. While in written communication we express our views through letters or e-mail. For becoming a good communicator we must understand few things like having a good control on the language must be prioritize. A hold on certain language will always help you to communicate properly with others. There are thousand of languages exists in this world, but the one language which has become the International language and that is English. So if you are having a good knowledge of English than certainly it is fruitful for you. While communicating with others our articulation of thoughts can really help a listener to make him understand lucidly. Your modest attitude can bring out your real inner charm and notion. Always keep flexibility through you can mold yourself according to situation. There are people who always start blowing their own drum pad and don’t let other speak, we must avoid such habits because listening is also an art and it is often seen that a good listener can be a good speaker. I think, your V G A driver is not completely installed. reinstalling your driver might fix this problem. to install this, if you have your mother board driver, please insert that CD now. press Shift few second to bypass the autorun feature. then, on the desktop, select My computer, but don't press enter. instead, press application key to open short cut menu. from there, by pressing up/down arrow, go to manage, and finally devise manager. and press tab to open. now, depending on your mother board, look for the V G A driver. it should say some thing NVIDIA GeForce 7025 / NVIDIA nForce 630a if you have sampron mother board driver. other wise, in pentium3 or 4, it say some thing, VGA compartible driver any ways, if you find this in an open state, that meanse, you have not updated this driver yet. so update now by pressing application key, and then fine update driver..., and follow the remaining stape. and finally restart your computer to work fully.
