Hi, Not got access to another pair of headphones yet, and am not too eager to do that soon, due to exams and ll... But, something strange, and amazingly good, if you remember, sometime ago my speakers had suddenly stopped working? Now, when headphones are fully unplugged, speakers work perfectly. Audio quality has worsened a bit, but still, a good and unexpected change Things are strange, and I will try out some suggestions given by you all after exams... Dear babya, there is no longer need to install the extra headphone driver. Once you install the audio driver, the hardware associated with this driver such as headset, microphone, etc will automatically be installed. HI, I had looked into installing audio-related drivers of my laptop before as well, when I had other audio-related issues. I doubt any change from then. Furthermore, I don't have the drivers CD that came with my laptop either.
